What a blog slacker I have been..geesh:)

Just a little craziness going on over here. I don't even know where to begin....

• Lost 10 pounds and gained it back:( Starting over {for reals} today!!!!!!
• Still trying to unpack from the move..and it has been 2 months aready
• Still working on sewing an apron from a kit I got from Kim months ago
• Working on a bracket album I got ages ago too

I wanted to edit these pictures before posting, but I haven't had a chance to play in Photoshop...and here is the new table Joey made our of an old barn door......our other table was too big for our new dining room, so we are using it outside. Okay, gotta run...be back soon with more pictures of finished projects!!!!

I started a post about a week ago and lost it somehow....lot's has been happening over here these past couple of weeks...to sum it up, just {pure craziness and insanity and DRAMA DRAMA and more DRAMA!!!!} I won't bore you with all of the details.....all of these issues I am convinced makes me a better person, and a better friend when I see what I don't like in someone else, it clearly makes me just flee from it at all costs.  That is how I am trying to teach my girls to be.....who you want someone to be to you {ya remember when your mom would tell you to exercise the Golden Rule}.  Well, hate to say it, but it is so true.  I think I have gotten to a point in my life where I don't have time for high maintenance relationships...and especially those involving drama.  I am so so thankful for my online friends....not to say that I don't have good friends around here...but sometimes ya just need a break....know what I mean.

Today, I am sitting here at work...taking a breather...and I so needed it after a week of counseling young...young girls this week in crisis.  What is going on these days with young teens and pregnancy?   I don't remember growing up and seeing this as much...what has changed since then, or was I just blinded??  I am soo thankful for my job here though...it is an awesome feeling to be doing something to help make these young girls {or at least try to}

On a scrapping note..I have BIG plans on making some pages for Christmas presents and I am starting this weekend.  Need some creative therapy.....gonna start a new afghan  too..I have purchased so many kits and haven't done a thing with...so maybe I can get ahead on Christmas presents:)

Just some fun pictures of summer with family and friends.  The pictures of our neices and nephews are priceless...I just love their little expressions:) 

Things are just getting back on track here after moving and our mini-vacations over the summer.  School is in full swing..and the girls are loving it.  I am just sitting here wondering when the craziness will be over, but I don't think it will.   I am looking forward to getting back to scrapping though....and blogging...and this heat here in CA is crazy.

{{Craziness}}

I have been waiting till I can upload some photos to post...but still no uploads, but I am posting anyways.  Been a crazy 2 weeks with company and getting ready to move.  But things are coming together much better than anticipated.  I LOVE this new house we are moving to...better than the one we are in..hardwood floors and a huge backyard.  We are moving tomorrow and most of the boxes are packed and ready to go.  We actually hired movers to come and take care of our large items {didn't want to ask anyone for help}.

We should be settled in by this time next week....and then off to one of my all time favorite places {Carmel} for a mini vacation before the girls start school on Aug. 26th.  I can't believe how fast this summer has gone by.  It has been a good one though.  I actually lost 10 pounds.  My friend is a trainer and I asked for some help.  She let me borrow her treadmill and I have been working out everyday for a month so far..  So, just another 10 pounds and I will be happy {ya, right}.

Kay..better get back to work.

{New Friend & Bangs}

Sooo today I finally got to meet Kerry.  I met her via Jayney's  blog..realized we lived in the same town and just had to meet up.  I have only met a couple of my online buddies...so nice to meet face to face and have soo much in common.  We were discussing how {High Maintenance} friendships can be, so it's nice to meet someone so down to earth.  I wish I would've taken a  better picture though...LOL  And I forgot my camera , so I couldn't take a picture of her:(  Next time!!

Just got my hair cut..love the cut....but these bangs, well they are going to take some gettin' use to.

Last night I went to sleep,being total Mrs. Grumpy Pants.....frustrated by some things, ready to give up on others, weeell, I woke up this morning with a whole new perspective on life and people {thank God for that}.  Really wanting to get back into some digital layouts and start being creative again.  Just really haven't felt like doing anything like that at all.......funny what a good nights sleep does to ya!

I have a new favorite mascara that I thought I would share with you.  I am totally a MAC makeup girl......love all their products...but when Joelie saw this Max Factor Lash Perfection Mascara in the In Style magazine I decided to check it out.....love it.  I think I got it at 40% off 7.99 at the Drug Store....and it comes in colors too!!!!!!!  And pink...{that's the one Joelie wants}.  Gotta try it girls!!!! Can't believe my 12 year old is soooo into make up..but I guess at the age I was too  We had so much fun on Mother's Day this year....we went to the Benefit Counter at Macy's and had our eyebrows waxed and got our makeup done.. I actually fell in love with their blue mascara and wanted some, but Benefit is pretty pricey, so I was happy to find some at a drugstore!!!!!
